VSL Marine Technology Private Limited is a maritime solutions provider, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Naval Architect Engineer to join our team in a shore-based role.

Position Overview:

As a Shore-Based Naval Architect at VSL Marine Technology Private Limited, you will play a vital role in leveraging your expertise and engineering skills to support the development, analysis, and implementation of our engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

Engineering Expertise:

Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of marine engineering principles, systems, and technologies to contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of marine systems and equipment.

Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance and support to vessel operations teams, collaborating closely with onboard engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.

Project Management:
Lead or participate in engineering projects aimed at improving vessel performance, fuel efficiency, emissions reduction, and safety. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

Data Analysis:
Analyze data collected from vessels to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimizing operational efficiency.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, procurement, and research and development to drive continuous improvement in vessel performance and overall operations.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. Extensive experience / knowledge of vessels, demonstrating a strong understanding of marine systems, propulsion, and auxiliary equipment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and presentation of findings.

Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Knowledge of relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.

Location:
Mumbai, with occasional travel to vessel / site locations.
