About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Strong exposure in design and developing with AWS services.
8+ years of technical experience with an emphasis on Java and the Spring Framework, Core Java, J2EE and Multi system architecture exposu
Thorough understanding and experience in microservices development. Designing RESTful API endpoints, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, HTTP protocol.
Experience in Database technologies, example: SQL programming
Experience in designing and development of Big data processing systems
Ability to guide developers—Front end, back end, and fullstack developers across different tech functions.
Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology. Metricsfocused and obsessed with CI/CD and DevOps.

It would be great if you also have:

Other database technologies: NoSQL, GraphQL, etc., including big data storage and querying.
Deploying solutions using Continuous Delivery best practices.
Familiarity with working with microfrontend frameworks.
Knowledge of data wrangling, big data storage, and some aspects of data science would be a significant advantage

What will you be doing in this role?

The Content Technology Group is responsible for constructing software tools and infrastructure for all content served by Clarivate to approximately 8000 institutions globally.
Engage with other global team members to deliver highquality software.
Collaborate with multiple teams, establish and maintain effective software development and Agile practices.
Design, develop, test, and deploy new software solutions, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Run and monitor performance and quality tests on new and existing software to correct mistakes, isolate areas for improvement, and perform general debugging.
Design and implement longterm strategic goals and shortterm tactical plans for managing and maintaining software.
Conduct research on emerging technologies to support systems development efforts and recommend technologies that will improve performance and/or functionality.

Fulltime in IST zone
40 h/week
