    Job DescriptionSummary

    TheDatabricksAWS/Azure/GCPArchitect at Koantek builds secure highly scalable big datasolutions to achieve tangible datadriven outcomes all the whilekeeping simplicity and operational effectiveness in mind. This rolecollaborates with teammates product teams and crossfunctionalproject teams to lead the adoption and integration of theDatabricks Lakehouse Platform into the enterprise ecosystem andAWS/Azure/GCP architecture. This role is responsible forimplementing securely architected big data solutions that areoperationally reliable performant and deliver on strategicinitiatives.

    Specificrequirements for the role include:

    • Expertlevel knowledge of dataframeworks data lakes and opensourceprojects such as Apache Spark MLflow and DeltaLake
    • Expertlevel handson codingexperience in Spark/ScalaPython orPyspark
    • Expert proficiency in Python C JavaR and SQL
    • Midlevel knowledge of codeversioning tools such as Git Bitbucket orSVN
    • In depth understanding of SparkArchitecture including Spark Core Spark SQL Data Frames SparkStreaming RDD caching SparkMLib
    • IoT/eventdriven/microservices in thecloud Experience with private and public cloud architecturespros/cons and migrationconsiderations.
    • Extensive handson experienceimplementing data migration and data processing usingAWS/Azure/GCPservices
    • Expertise in using Spark SQL withvarious data sources like JSON Parquet and Key ValuePair
    • Extensive handson experience withthe Technology stack available in the industry for data managementdata ingestion capture processing and curation:Kafka StreamSets Attunity GoldenGate MapReduce Hadoop Hive Hbase Cassandra Spark Flume Hive Impalaetc.
    • Experience using Azure DevOps andCI/CD as well as Agile tools and processes including Git JenkinsJira and Confluence
    • Experience in creating tablespartitioning bucketing loading and aggregating data using SparkSQL/Scala
    • Able to build ingestion to ADLS andenable BI layer forAnalytics
    • Experience in Machine LearningStudio Stream Analytics Event/IoT Hubs andCosmos
    • Strong understanding of DataModeling and defining conceptual logical and physical datamodels.
    • Proficient level experience witharchitecture design build and optimization of big data collectioningestion storage processing andvisualization
    • Working knowledge of RESTful APIsOAuth2 authorization framework and security best practices for APIGateways
    • Familiarity of working withunstructured data sets (i.e. voice image log files social mediaposts email)
    • Experience in handling escalationsfrom customer s operationalissues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with teammembers to lead and drive enterprise solutions advising on keydecision points on tradeoffs best practices and riskmitigation
    • Guide customers in transforming bigdata projectsincluding development and deployment of big data andAI applications
    • Educate clients on Cloudtechnologies and influence direction of thesolution.
    • Promote emphasize and leverage bigdata solutions to deploy performant systems that appropriatelyautoscale are highly available faulttolerant selfmonitoring andserviceable
    • Use a defenseindepth approach indesigning data solutions and AWS/Azure/GCPinfrastructure
    • Assist and advise data engineers inthe preparation and delivery of raw data for prescriptive andpredictive modeling
    • Aid developers to identify designand implement process improvements with automation tools tooptimizing datadelivery
    • Build infrastructure required foroptimal extraction loading and transformation of data from a widevariety of datasources
    • Work with the developers to maintainand monitor scalable datapipelines
    • Perform root cause analysis toanswer specific business questions and identify opportunities forprocess improvement
    • Build out new API integrations tosupport continuing increases in data volume andcomplexity
    • Implement processes and systems tomonitor data quality and security ensuring production data isaccurate and available for key stakeholders and the businessprocesses that depend onit
    • Employ change management bestpractices to ensure that data remains readily accessible to thebusiness
    • Maintain tools processes andassociated documentation to manage API gateways and underlyinginfrastructure
    • Implement reusable design templatesand solutions to integrate automate and orchestrate cloudoperational needs
    • Experience with MDM using datagovernance solutions

    Qualifications:

    • Overall experience of 12years in the IT field.
    • 2 years of handson experiencedesigning and implementing multitenant solutions using AzureDatabricks for data governance data pipelines for near realtimedata warehouse and machine learningsolutions.
    • 3 years of design and developmentexperience with scalable and costeffectiveMicrosoftAzure/AWS/GCP data architecture andrelated solutions
    • 5 years experience in a softwaredevelopment data engineering or data analytics field using PythonScala Spark Java or equivalent technologies
    • Bachelor s or Master s degree in BigData Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar area ofstudy or equivalent workexperience

    • Advanced technicalcertifications: Azure Solutions ArchitectExpert
    • AWS Certified Data Analytics DASCABig Data Engineering andAnalytics
    • AWS Certified Cloud PractitionerSolutions Architect.

    4+ years' experience in ETL (or)Spark/Python/ SQL (or) Cloud Engineering (or) Big Data Consultativeapproach to problem solving, ability to use Chat GPT and LLMtechnologies Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer ScienceStrong written and verbal communication skills Ability to managecompeting priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to resolveissues Self-Motivated and ability to workindependently
