Social Media Content & Digital Marketing Specialist (Basic level)
Dear Applicant,

We are looking for a skilled Social Media Content Writer who can also do basic-level digital marketing.

The person will manage our alumni social media platforms and develop & implement unique social media strategies to engage our global alumni.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing, writing, editing, and sharing interesting content for our alumni social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Optimising social media posts (language, tone, and message) following the needs of our target audience
  • Choosing eyecatching pictures and videos to go with the text
  • Following and reporting on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
  • Promoting alumni engagement by using advertising strategies like contests and promos
  • Respond to queries and remarks promptly and truthfully
  • Plan and implement social media marketing campaigns

Requirements & Skills:

  • Post Graduation in English/Journalism/Communications, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working as a Social Media Copywriter or in a similar position
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools, as well as practical expertise promoting on numerous social media platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of online paid advertising
  • Being able to produce original web content
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge of basic digital marketing (campaigns, ads etc)
  • The person should reside preferably near our Amritapuri (Kollam), Cochin, Coimbatore or Bangalore campuses & be willing to come to the office once/twice a month minimu

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary


Salary:
₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
