Job Profile:

As a Lathe Machine Operator at Winjoy Innovatives, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce components and parts for our industrial equipment and fabrication projects.

You will work closely with our production team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, boring, threading, and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the machining requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each job to ensure optimal machining outcomes.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running smoothly and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and quality control, to ensure effective communication and smooth production flow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep records of production activities, including job setup details, machining parameters, and quality control checks.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience (23 yrs) as a Lathe Machine Operator in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of lathe machine operations, tool selection, and machining techniques.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot and adjust machines.
• Knowledge of different materials and their machining characteristics.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the production team.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new machining technologies and techniques.
• Time management skills to ensure timely completion of projects.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution in India is preferred.

Examples of eligible degrees include:
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Machining or Mechanical Trade / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Mechanical Engineering

• Additional certifications in lathe machine operation and maintenance will be a plus.
