Essential Job Functions:


  • Support security assessments and vulnerability analysis, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in security monitoring and incident response activities.
  • Participate in security awareness and training programs.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to enhance security controls.
  • Conduct basic security reviews and assessments.
  • Help maintain security documentation.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends.
  • Contribute to the development of security guidelines and standards.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 3+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role years of experience in security engineering or analysis
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
  • Basic coding and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of security concepts, industry standards, and tools
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Other Qualifications:


  • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CISA) or advanced training a plus
