SSE - L2 Monitoring Service Zabbix Mgr/Developer

Primary Skills:

Secondary Skills:
Redhat Linux Administration, Network administration, Shell, Perl, and SQL scripting

Activities:

Responsibility to provide endtoend production support on the enterprise open source monitoring tool Zabbix
Implementation, configuration, monitoring, defining and maintaining the implementation of performance data collection in an enterprise environment
Responsible for the creation of required templates and migration of servers & other infrastructure assets from other monitoring tools to Zabbix
Good knowledge of linux OS with troubleshooting skills, experience in server and network administration
Maintain and improve the service being provided and should actively manage workloads to meet customer requirements
Fluent with at least one cloud platform Azure or AWS or GKE and general cloud concepts
Maintenance of Zabbix environment and conduct enhancements for value added services

- day operations and issues, utilizing Zabbix, NewRelic

Installation of SSL (HTTPS) for the domains on Web servers and HAProxy

Scripting and automation

Phyton/Shell Scripting/Perl
Understand Incidents, SR, Problem, Change from Cloud Ops perspective
Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Ability to write function / script (items) in Zabbix to enable monitors of all technology endpoints like VMWare, Oracle, Cisco, Palo Alto etc.
