Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

Guide, review and provide feedback on architecture, design, technology, features, time & budget estimates, and test strategies
A forward thinker who is passionate about developing highly innovative breakthrough technologies, and has the resilience to make innovation happen
Keep up with rapid innovations in the AI/ML across the industry and consistently brings new ideas to the team
Mentor a high performing team ensuring that team dynamics continue to be healthy
Work in rapid prototype and agile development environment
Build and own critical parts of the platform and deliver to production. Lead by example to deliver high quality enterprise software
Partner with other architects across Microsoft Azure common goals
Deep knowledge of some of the popular ML frameworks such as SparkML, Tensorflow, scikitlearn, XGBoost, H2o etc.
Experience in building large scale distributed ML Models
Experience in building modern Machine Learning platforms a big plus
Good understanding of foundational statistics concepts and algorithms: linear/logistic regression, random forest, boosting, ANN's, etc.
Experience in building robust data pipelines and familiarity with ETL/Data Wrangling tools
Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) or a containerized environment (Mesos, Kubernetes)
Being a committer or a contributor to an open source project is a plus
