Align Technology is looking for a detail-oriented high-performing

Scrum Master / Business Analyst that can work in a fast-paced multi-team agile environment. Responsibilities including gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and translating business requirements and functions into well-organized designs and user stories.

The Business Analyst / Scrum Master will also be responsible for setting the team up for success by adopting, implementing, and conducting Agile practices.

The Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum / Kanban teams' processes and deliverables and communicate with stakeholders, escalate issues, remove impediments, and help manage risk.

In this role, you will

Facilitating the scrum process on scrum teams with crossfunctional impacts that involve complex project, nonproject, platform transformation, modernization, or maintenance work.
Guiding the scrum team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
Using empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance.
Partnering with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.
Facilitating and accountable for owning the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the scrum team(s).
Partnering with Product owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
Performs requirements analysis and develops user stories to support the Agile team.
Create Jira tickets and manages development and sustainment tasks in Jira.
Provides customer support and enduser support as required.
Applies business process review to support the coordination of activities between and amongst functional units supporting one to more functional lines of business.
Contribute to an atmosphere of crossfunctional teamwork within the organization; contribute to acceptance/functional testing duties.
Participate in agile incremental delivery approach which supports incremental development and releases every sprint cycle.
Assist development/test teams in activities with test script development and acceptance testing.
Communicates with the development team and stakeholders to successfully address requirements.
Refines requirements with business process owners and documents requirements into actionable tasks and stories by developers in Jira.

In this role, you'll need

Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.

Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints.

Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.

Must Have:

Ability to act in a scrum master role and communicate well within crossfunctional teams and to be the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 6+ years information technology experience in a growth environment
Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
