Job description for safety supervisor

Support the development of OHS policies and SOP.
Advise and instruct on various safetyrelated topics (noise levels, use of machinery, heavy machines etc.)
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Initiate and organize OHS and fire training of employees and workers. And Daily basis conduct Toolbox Talk training and keep maintain record.
Inspect plant and site premises check workers and staff's safety PPE's (personal protective equipment) wearing or not.
Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
Stop any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Record and investigate accident/ incidents first aid to determine causes
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Knowledge of Emergency situation and mock drill.
Daily basis round all over site and inspect hazards and resolve safety problems.
Maintain first aid box and fire extinguisher record.
Implement of work permit system.
Maintain site safety boards and safety equipment's.

Requirements and skills

1 Year to 2 years' experience as
safety Supervisor:
In depth knowledge of legislation occupational health and safety procedures
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office, MS Exel, PPT knowledge of safety management information systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics

- diploma in safety field is preferred (ADIS) advance diploma in industrial safety. (MSBTE)

Salary:
₹15, ₹24,000.00 per month
