Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to work in the Transaction Monitoring and Data Controls team.

You will be hands on technical engineer within our delivery pods and deliver software solutions. As lead engineer lead you will design software architecture and implement complex solutions, driving re-use and best practices.

You will contribute to strategic design decisions and define engineering approaches that can be disruptive, with the goals of simplifying architectures, reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities:

Work with Business Analysts and developers on building test cases
Perform functional, regression, integration, load and stress testing
Plan and implement full set of test automation activities: create, maintain and execute automated tests
Risks management
Maintain test environments
Develop and extend inhouse testing automation tools and test frameworks Participate with development teams in release management and process improvement
Experience/Skills You'll need**:
10 to 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Hands on experience with Java
Automated test tool/frameworks development experience
Experience with REST API testing
Experience with Junit and TestNG frameworks
BDD/Cucumber framework
Experience with Spring Boot test framework will be added advantage
Knowledge of SQL
UNIX and Bash experience (bash scripting)
Good testing and troubleshooting experience across software development lifecycle
Understanding software development and testing processes
Good communication skills
Experience working in distributed teams
Understanding of payments domain is a huge advantage
