Role Purpose


MSS Control Office provides first line of defence to ensure business activities are completed in line with policies, procedures and controls.

The Control Office responsibilities are segregated by business line or function and are key in supporting the business and providing business oversight.


The role in the control office is aligned to monitoring and support the trading desk specifically around pricing controls across asset classes.

The selected individual will be required to support trading desks globally to coordinate configurations, exception handling and reporting. Additional activities will be added as the role matures.

  • Responding to regional trading desk requests for changes to monitoring configurations
  • Responses to questions on exceptional monitoring events
  • Preparation of monthly reports for regional sites business committees
  • Tracking & coordinating system configuration changes through to completion
Requirements


What you will need to succeed in the role**:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent University degree
  • Basic understanding of trade life cycle and good understanding of various asset classes particularly FX and FI.
  • Business Analyst/PM experience with at least 5 years' relevant experience in Banking Front Office environment
  • Understanding of Global markets business & control frameworks
  • Excellent MS Office skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and communication skills with ability to interact and operate at stakeholders at various levels.
  • Attention to detail with eye for quality
  • Has experience working in global across multilocations
  • Collaborative style with ability to quickly build trust and credibility;
  • Good understanding of purpose of the control office and its function
  • Strong delivery / change focus.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize;
  • A proactive, selfstarter, who is can be relied upon to act on initiative;
  • Can do' attitude with a willingness to rollup the sleeves in order to get things done;
  • Manages to balance structure & best practice versus pragmatism;
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Stakeholder management
