    Description

    We are seeking a talented Lead Data Engineering Manager to support a Fortune 500 Technology Client. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in setting up & implementing digital analytics (Adobe Analytics). leading data modeling and ETL development, APIs that serve real-time data, and aggregated dashboards, growing and mentoring junior engineers and setting a high bar for both engineering practices on the team and data quality. You will be responsible for data ownership, guaranteeing the speed, quality and usability of the data.

    What You'll Bring

    5 – 10 Years of experience working within digital tagging solutions, data engineering, Business Intelligence, and analytics with architecting, designing, and developing large scale data solutions.

    Tag Management Specific skills:

    Solution design reference creation

    Data Layer creation & Deployment

    Creating data elements

    Skilled in Digital Analytics Implementation via industry standard tagging solutions

    Setting up data models in AEP

    Integrating AEP with Adobe Analytics, CJA & AJO for cross utilization of data across the platforms

    Solutions: Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform, GTM, JavaScript, jQuery, Adobe Journey Optimizer

    Data Engineering Specific Skills:

    • Experience in data architecture, data modelling & data management to meet business needs for on-premises and cloud-based technologies.
    • Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions and automate the data pipelines on various platform.
    • Experienced in implement data validation rules, data cleansing procedures, applied best practices, recommendations and assists in monitoring system performance.
    • Optimize database performance, scalability to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations.

    Solutions:

    • Azure Platform: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory to build ETLs, ADLS to store data files, Azure SQL Server to build databases and data warehouses, Azure Functions, Time Trigger, and Azure Synapse Analytics
    • AWS Platform: Amazon SageMaker to convert business aspects to functional aspects; Amazon S3 bucket to load multiple files; Amazon Redshift to build data components (database/data warehouse); and Lambda functions, EMR, EC2, Cloud Watch, and Amazon Event Bridge to automate the AWS Glue data pipeline process.
    • Google Cloud Platform: Google BigQuery to build data components (database/data warehouse), Google Cloud Storage for handling files, Dataflow, Data Proc /Data Fusion to build up ETL processes, and Cloud Function/Cloud Scheduler and Cloud Composer to automate the data pipeline process.
    • A very strong sense of data ownership, being willing to guarantee data quality even it it originates from sources you don't directly control.
    • Proven track record in managing large and complex cross functional programs, bringing multiple teams (including project managers) together to work towards a common objective and single source of truth.
    • Experience in leading and mentoring teams that write and maintain high-quality code using standard methodologies such as code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration.
    • Good time management skills and can incrementally deliver to tight schedules.
    • Understanding of Ecommerce data, digital analytics, Product analytics tools (ex. Adobe analytics) and ML processes is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
