Description

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior GCP Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team.
As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform.
You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our cloudbased solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and reliable solutions on GCP.
Develop and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Lead the implementation of GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and others.
Automate deployment, configuration, and management of GCP resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
Monitor and optimize the performance of GCP infrastructure to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Implement costeffective solutions and strategies for optimizing cloud expenses.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and privacy.
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate GCP services into the overall technology stack.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Investigate and resolve issues related to GCP infrastructure, collaborating with support teams as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Stay abreast of the latest GCP features, services, and best practices.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the existing infrastructure with emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Indepth knowledge of GCP services, networking, security, and identity management.
Experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
