Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for analyzing, testing, and deploying data products that meet the needs of stakeholders
  • Data analysis: Analyzing data products to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for new features or enhancements. This involves analyzing usage data, customer feedback, and other metrics to inform product development decisions.
  • Product design and development: Working with product managers and engineers to design and develop data products that meet the needs of stakeholders. This includes defining product requirements, creating user stories, and developing product roadmaps.
  • Product testing and validation: Testing data products to ensure that they are accurate, reliable, and meet the needs of stakeholders. This includes developing test cases, executing tests, and analyzing test results to identify and resolve issues.
  • Data governance: Ensuring that data products are compliant with data governance policies and procedures. This involves working with data governance teams to ensure that data products are secure, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Product documentation: Creating product documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes, to ensure that stakeholders understand how to use data products effectively.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Engaging with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and ensure that data products meet their requirements. This includes collaborating with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their use cases and provide support as needed.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert on GDD Data & Analytics Solutions and build domain knowledge of the GDD specific area
  • Has End to End ownership mindset in driving initiatives through completion
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with mínimal oversight
  • Mentors other team members effectively to unlock full potential
  • Prior experience working in an Agile/Product based environment
  • Provides strategic feedback to vendors on service delivery and balances workload with vendor teams

Qualifications & Experience:


  • 23 years of handson experience working on implementing and operating data capabilities and cuttingedge data solutions, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • 23 year proven working experience as a data analyst,
    tester or business data analyst
  • At least 2 years technical expertise in
    testing, database design development and visualization techniques
  • 12 years familiarity with developing,
    testing and delivering data, ETL solutions with some of the technologies like AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena, lakeformation, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Spotfire, SAS, R etc), databases (SQL, PostgreSQL etc), programming (Python, R, SAS, Javascript, Glue etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistics, data sciences and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SAS, R, R-Shiny etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Breadth of experience in technology capabilities that span the full life cycle of data management including data lakehouses, master/reference data management, data quality and analytics/AI ML is needed.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, PyTorch etc.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
  • Experience with cloudbased data technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Functional knowledge or prior experience in Lifesciences Research and Development domain is a plus
  • Experience and expertise in establishing agile and productoriented teams that work effectively with teams in US and other global BMS site.
