Position Summary


Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provides advisory services including Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters, accounting processes and controls support.


Primary Responsibilities
The Senior will collaborate with Manager during engagements covering a broad spectrum of FP&A areas.

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

Core FP&A experience:
_


  • Experience in designing/managing budgeting process incl. Zero based budgeting solution and developing bottomsup budgets/planning for a BU/Division
  • Expertise in costing and profitability modelling, including ABC (Activity-Based Costing), LCC (Life Cycle Costing), and target costing
  • Hands on experience in compilation of monthly financials (P&L, B/S, C/F), analyse trends in P&L items to identify issues and risks or opportunities for financial plan/forecast
  • Handon experience in independently managing forecasting process using methods like Rolling forecast
  • Expertise in financial analysis for various what if
- scenarios and sensitivity analysis and the overall impact to the business units or divisions

  • Handson experience in managing processes like allocations, monthly or quarterly finance performance reviews, facilitate planning and forecasting processes and helps in developing KPIs to monitor the performance against strategic objectives
  • Prior experience with drafting process documents or SOPs for FP&A function

Transformation & Strategy:
_


  • Ability to understand process gaps in areas like Budgeting, forecasting or actual reporting and suggest on the improvement opportunities
  • Conduct current and future state process mapping and help identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct current state assessment and Fitgap analysis for business processes and systems
  • Assist in managing largescale, multiyear transformation initiatives involving operating model redesign, process optimization, and technologyenabled transformations
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive and strategic plan for FP&A transformation, ensuring its alignment with organizational goals
  • Assist in formulating implementation plans to achieve the FP&A strategy, encompassing process enhancements, technology adoption, Business Requirement Document, and talent management, while considering the endtoend implications and dependencies
  • Assist in Requests for Quotations (RFQs), preparing proposals, and actively participating in client discussions

Analytical Solutions:
_


  • Ability to navigate through function design map to technical design document and understand key requirements
  • Handson support / experience in managing implementation projects covering analytical tools like SAP SAC, Anaplan, Tagetik, Lucanet or any other EPM solutions

Project, Stakeholder and People management:
_


  • Possess good project management skills, including scoping and planning projects, structured thinking, and proactive identification and resolution of risks
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Overseeing/assist Manager's in engagement planning, budgeting, execution, and management
  • Ability to manage a team of consultants and build/establish credibility as a trusted advisor with clients or Internal stakeholders

Qualifications, skills, and experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Experience in the following areas:

  • Strong understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven experience in assisting FP&A transformation initiatives, including driverbased forecasting, process automation, and strategic operating model design
  • Familiarity with innovative enabling technologies used in FP&A, such as advanced analytics, data visualization, and financial planning software
  • Excellent project management skills, including scoping, planning, and risk identification and resolution
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resol
