    Description

    Seekinga Mechanical Engineer with building design experience for a firmthat works with clients across the United States to combat theaffordable housing crisis by reimagining construction withworldclass innovation. They define success by constructability andachieve it through highly coordinated BIM models and a carefullyexecuted quality controlplan.


    Asa member of the plumbing team you will contribute to the missionby:
    • Performingand directing others in detailed building design includingequipment sizing and selection plumbing waste and vent plumbingwater supply and gas plumbing riser diagrams and isometrics HVACsystems HVAC ductwork and related engineeringcalculations.
    • Providingtechnical guidance and training to more juniorstaff.
    • Ensuringthat design standards and quality control procedures are followedand that designs comply with federal state and localcodes.
    • Mentoringmore junior staff and developing them for growth within theirdiscipline and thefirm.


    Requirements

    • Bachelorof Science in Mechanical Engineering(BSME).
    • 4years of building design experience (HVAC &Plumbing).
    • Proficiencywith Revit andBluebeam.
    • Experiencefilling the role of project engineer for several projects occurringconcurrently.
    • Strongunderstanding and knowledge of industrycodes.

    PreferredQualifications

    • Strongworking knowledge of plumbing design andinstallation.
    • Modularconstructionexperience.
    • Experiencemanaging two or more people on a projectteam.
    • Engineerin Training (EIT) certification US based work experience and anunderstanding and knowledge of industry codes including the UniformPlumbing Code (UPC) Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) InternationalBuilding Code (IBC) International Plumbing Code (IPC) InternationalMechanical Code (IMC) and ASHRAEStandards.
    • Understandingof California Building Energy EfficiencyStandards.

    • Abilityto be a flexible team player and adapt to changingrequirements.


    Benefits

    58lakhrupees($5992$9587) per year depending on experience andqualifications.



    Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). 4+ years ofbuilding design experience (HVAC & Plumbing). Proficiency withRevit and Bluebeam. Experience filling the role of project engineerfor several projects occurring concurrently. Strong understandingand knowledge of industry codes. Preferred Qualifications Strongworking knowledge of plumbing design and installation. Modularconstruction experience. Experience managing two or more people ona project team. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, US basedwork experience, and an understanding and knowledge of industrycodes, including the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), UniformMechanical Code (UMC), International Building Code (IBC),International Plumbing Code (IPC), International Mechanical Code(IMC), and ASHRAE Standards. Understanding of California BuildingEnergy Efficiency Standards.
