Description

Responsibilities:

Develop scripts, plugins, and standalone exporters for converting glb files into various formats.
Create scripts for repetitive tasks in 3ds Max or Maya such as batch processing, automation, and custom tools.
Develop plugins for converting and baking CGI models for realtime rendering.
Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to 3D programming and provide solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot issues with existing tools and scripts.
Stay uptodate with new technologies and industry trends related to 3D programming.

Requirements:

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, MaxScript, and MEL.

Familiar with 3ds Max or Maya and experienced in developing plugins for these software.

Experience with real-time rendering engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Strong knowledge of mesh and texture compression techniques (Draco, KTX).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
