Job Description for Site Supervisor

Personal Skills

Must be detailoriented and an effective multitasker.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
Enforcing site safety rules to minimize workrelated accidents and injuries.
Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
Maintaining an accurate record of construction material.
Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
Regularly checking inventory and placing orders for building materials.
Minimize wastage and inefficiency by reviewing quantities of materials received or used during specified periods.
Ensuring all equipment are in working order and good condition
Attending any onsite meetings or events
Communicating the progress report to the Site Engineer or Project Team Leader.
