Key responsibilities
- Responsible for finding local vendors, suppliers and collecting material rate as per project specification from the market.
- Responsible for preparing comparison statements.
- Compare the price details and availability and negotiate with the vendors for best price and best quality.
- Review GRN, GTN and compare the supplier bills.
- Responsible for Site asset management.
- Ensure the material arrives on time on site and necessary documentations are done.
- Responsible for Updating resource rate monthly.
- Adapting to the ERP and ensuring the processes are carried out by system.
- Responsible for the admin operations in the office which includes but not limited to Admin purchases management, Boarding and lodging management, Asset/Inventory/Stationery management, Logistics management, Petty cash management etc.
Experience:
- 3+years of experience in a fast paced environment prefered.
Skills/Competencies:
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Handson experience with purchasing software
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Mature, empathetic and professional
- Independent selfstarter with attention to detail
- Possesses integrity and ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
- Able to collaborate with and motivate others
- Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
