Why are we hiring an Information Scientist? We're on the hunt for an Information Scientist as part of our company's growth.


As part of the SEND group of service specialists, this role involves converting nonclinical data into SEND standard compliant datasets.


Who's Instem? Well, we're a global provider of bespoke industry-leading software solutions and services, which facilitate the pre-clinical, and clinical phases of the drug discovery process. We have over fifteen products in our portfolio, used by over 700 pharmaceutical clients (including all the top 20)

What are you responsible for?

  • Demonstrate an indepth understanding of preclinical data
  • Demonstrate an indepth understanding of SEND and other regulatory standards/guidance
  • Perform reviews of preclinical data converted into SEND
  • Perform reviews for SEND compliance
  • Develop the ability to understand customer needs
  • Engage in additional SEND related consultancy services: SEND Education, SEND Consultancy, Dataset Verification, FDA Submissions, Services associated with clients implementing our Submit suite of products.
  • Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science (or similar field) or IT
  • Educational or professional experience in a Life Sciences/Pre-Clinical environment or IT with an appreciation for complex data.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
