    Description

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Manager for our Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) Strategy for the India market. You will be a strategic leader for Autodesk's AEC business in India, coordinating and defining important go-to-market strategies. We are looking for an understanding of the Indian market dynamics, spanning the public sector, engineering consultancies, architects, and the contractor market. You will also need to demonstrate ability to collaborate with different teams.

    This new role, you will shape our AECO country strategy, align with important company partners from sales, marketing, and product leadership, and build relationship with our visionary customers. You'll develop a country plan, develop the expansion strategy, and inspire internal and external contributors to achieve impressive goals and monitor results.

    Additionally, you will establish and nurture industry partnerships and alliances. This will involve identifying potential partners, fostering strategic relationships, attending industry events, coordinating with other teams to align with partner strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and evaluating and improving our partnership strategies.

    Autodesk is in a period of exciting and dynamic change as we continue to expand market share through various business growth initiatives and our platform strategy. You will have input into the shape, direction, and growth of the organisation as we transition through this change and plan for the future.

    You will report to Asia Pacific AEC Market Strategy Leader at Autodesk in a remote working set up.

    Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic leader, developing and coordinating key go-to-market strategies for the Indian AECO market
  • Leverage an understanding of the Indian market to contribute to the growth strategies
  • Engage with different team members across the public sector, engineering consultancies, architects, and the contractor market
  • Provide strategic data driven insights based on market trends and competitive landscape
  • Develop a country plan, own and execute the business expansion strategy
  • Collaborate with different teams to execute strategic initiatives, demonstrating leadership and team-working skills
  • Experience in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of comprehensive business plans
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cloud and SaaS technology and business landscape
  • Business fundamentals and a background in solving complex customer problems
  • Customer/market research, analytical, conceptual skills
  • Accomplished diplomat with high level of confidence and solid experience working across large corporations
  • Influence geographically dispersed global organization to develop consensus
  • Expertise in formulating strategic direction and success at skillful negotiation and strategy implementation
  • 10+ years of experience in a business role, with an understanding of the nuances in sales and marketing to different cultures
  • Build relationships in matrix management organisation
