Junior Accountant - Bookkeeping

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to join our team.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of our company, including maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with bookkeeping principles
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other documents
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are in compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to develop and implement financial procedures
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial records and transactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Salary:
₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bhubaneshwar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Tally: 1 year (preferred)
