Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014.

Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes.

What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.

We are a fullstack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).

The Role:

You are someone who believes that good design has a role in the solution to every problem. You know that design is not just how things look and feel, but also how every process evolves. Even mundane processes from daily life can be made easier with design. You love products and have great creative skills. You want to own and be responsible for designing and driving products to completion. You religiously follow Buxton's rule of producing at least 3 alternatives for every design decision. You respect the grid and hate all the half pixel aligned icons.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Product Designer, you will get to:

Design our web and mobile products.
Experience data driven design on a platform with millions of transactions from 50,000+ merchants onboard.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers and other designers throughout the design process from creating user flows and wireframes to building prototypes.
Take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easytouse designs for all our users.
Own the designs at every stage: research, prototyping, shipping and measuring the success with user behavioral analytics.
And, most importantly, brainstorm and create new directions that Razorpay can take in our quest to make payments easy and accessible to all.

Mandatory Qualifications:

As a Product Designer, we expect you to have:

Obsession with user centric designs and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions with the engineering teams.
A basic understanding of typography, grid based systems, design frameworks, best UX patterns for mobile and web and responsive design principles.
A willingness to rapidly wireframe and prototype ideas and extend the style guide as required and define new and reusable UI components when needed.
