Job Summary
- Handling inquiries and there by follow up
- Develop, coordinate, facilitate, and/or present academic planning and career development modules and special workshops (e.g. choosing a major, resume development, identifying internship opportunities, etc.)
- Counsel and advise students in specific curriculum decisions including the choice and scheduling of courses, selection or change of majors and minors, etc., providing referrals to specific departments, schools or colleges as appropriate.
- Serve as liaison and resource with academic and/or student services departments/organizations as assigned.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain appropriate resources, reports and statistical summaries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The process involves counseling the students for overseas education
- Followup with the student, solving the student queries and handling the registrations.
- Performing all activities related to the admission.
- Coordinating with students & universities abroad.
- Organizing marketing activities for promoting the company.
- Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their queries and helping them to complete the required documents.
- Maintain the target metrics by converting prospective students into confirmed admission.
- Participate in the decisionmaking process for student admissions based on guidelines.
- Prepares and present applicant reports to the college management.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies for coordinating admission activities and resolving problems.
- Collaborate with the program coordinators to organize presentations, information sessions, and recruitment related activities
- Perform college administrative and clerical activities when needed.
- Build broad knowledge on college admission activities and guidelines.
- Should be able to do monthly desired admissions targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Should possess a degree.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in counseling the students for overseas education.
- Good communication skill.
- An ability to interact with many people with diverse backgrounds and personality.
