Job Title QC Executive

JOB OVERVIEW QC Executive role is to ensure that video content and post copies are following the guidelines as designated by respective digital media platforms and the keywords used are appropriate and SEO friendly.

He/she need to ensure that the content and metadata does not violate the community guidelines Job Description Key Result Areas -Identify and check if the content and metadata posted in YT CMS or any other platforms appear to be Spam, Deceptive, Sensitive, Violent, Dangerous

  • Ensures that no misinformation is spread through the accounts and channels operated by company
  • Sees that the none of the content fits into channel impersonation or personal impersonation
  • Ensure that certain words marked nonusable by platforms are not used in any of the metadata or keywords
  • Sees that the thumbnails of the videos does not include violent, disturbing, misleading text or images
  • Identifies and reports any keyword/metadata usage errors over YouTube and other platforms and ensure that the content meets company standards
  • Ensure that the language used is appropriate and does not hurt any sentiments
  • Submits the QC reports in a database/file and shares with concerned teams, so that the similar errors can be identified and avoided
  • Sends for the revisions of texts as and when required to the respective business units
  • Ensures the highest quality and standard of written content before publishing
  • Ensures to meet the timelines by sharing timely approvals/revisions before publishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 1. Watch Time 2. Viewer retention 3. Video Engagement 4. Meeting the standards of YouTube and other platform
