ITI Electrician (Electrical Panel Wiring & Installation)

Job Description:

An ITI Electrician specializing in Electrical panel wiring and installation plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:


Electrical Panel Wiring:
Perform wiring and assembly of electrical control panels, distribution boards, and switchboards according to specifications and electrical drawings.

Installation and Maintenance:
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, including control panels, distribution boards, motor controls, and associated components.

Electrical Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve electrical problems, faults, and malfunctions in control panels and electrical systems.

Testing and Commissioning:
Conduct testing and commissioning activities to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and compliance with quality standards.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of panel wiring layouts, electrical connections, modifications, and repairs for future reference and troubleshooting.

Collaboration:
Coordinate and collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives and timelines.

Upkeep and Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.


Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or equivalent in electrical trade.
• Proficiency in electrical panel wiring and installation techniques.
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical components, wiring standards, and safety protocols.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
