    We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Java Architect to join our dynamic team on a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) basis. This role is open to candidates with extensive experience ranging from 10 to 20 years in architecting robust and scalable Java-based solutions. You will have the flexibility of a hybrid work mode, operating from our Gurugram or Bengaluru offices.

    As a Java Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our enterprise applications, ensuring they are designed for high performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will lead by example, guiding development teams and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define and own the end-to-end architecture for complex Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategy.
    • Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native principles.
    • Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multiple development teams, fostering best practices in software development, code quality, and performance optimization.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance existing systems and build innovative solutions.
    • Conduct architectural reviews, code inspections, and performance tuning to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and maintain high system reliability.
    • Oversee system integration with various internal and external platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
    • Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Identify and mitigate technical risks, proposing proactive solutions and contingency plans.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10-20 years of progressive experience in software development, with a significant portion (5+ years) in a dedicated Java Architect or Lead Architect role.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering large-scale, high-performance, and complex enterprise-level Java applications.

    Mandatory Skills:

    • Deep expertise in Java/J2EE ecosystem: Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM internals, Memory Management.
    • Mastery of Java Frameworks: Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA.
    • Architectural Design Patterns: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, SOA, MVC.
    • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), including cloud-native services, serverless computing, and infrastructure as code.
    • Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and deployment.
    • Database Technologies: Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), including schema design and optimization.
    • Messaging & Streaming: Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
    • API Design & Development: Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and exposure to GraphQL.
    • DevOps & CI/CD: Solid understanding of DevOps practices and proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, Gradle, Git).
    • Performance Engineering: Ability to analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
    • Security Principles: Strong understanding of application security best practices, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding principles.
    • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Agile Methodologies: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
