What you'll be doing

  • Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a key trusted advisor, providing finance business partnering to various areas of the business
  • Leads delivery of end-to-end financial planning and reporting processes for the unit, providing input and insight to inform business partnering activities, and enabling effective business strategy development, decision making and performance management
  • Owns the end-to-end financials across a transaction cycle/ function
  • Delivers the implementation of the strategy for the unit by working with the team to provide insights and key reports, aligned to the FP&A strategy for the Group/Business Unit
  • Business partners with multiple sub-units to provide financial insights to inform strategic decision making
  • Improves understanding and impact of financial reporting on performance of the business unit
  • Ensures all business partnering activities are carried out in compliance with, local legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Identifies and drives resolution of any data issues impacting productivity or compliance
  • Continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in financial reporting principles and practices
  • Considers risk, regulation and uncertainty in short-term decisions and ensures that risks are identified and managed, by establishing clear accountabilities and supporting an appropriate risk culture and control environment
  • Coaches talent, and may manage others, to develop capabilities and ensure performance
  • Implements continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes and to resolve data issues impacting productivity and compliance
