Position / Role:
Architectural Draftsman

Experience Required: 3-5 years.

Lonavala/ Mumbai


Reports to:

HOD

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

  • Generate detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications based on input from architects and other project stakeholders.
  • Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create 2D and 3D models.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with architects, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements.
  • Participate in design meetings and provide input on technical feasibility and practicality of designs.

Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and revision logs.
  • Organize and manage drawing files to ensure version control and accessibility.

Quality Control:

  • Review and verify accuracy of own work and that of others to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in drawings and communicate changes as necessary.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project team members to address design modifications and updates.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in drafting and design tools.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge of CAD software and related technologies.

Job Expectations:


Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 35 of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in drafting work.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues in drawings.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

Minimum Qualification:
Degree in relevant field


Minimum Job Experience: 3-5 years
