Led by two co-founders, with strong Silicon Valley DNA, bringing over 40 years of combined experience from industry giants (Intel, Apple, Tesla, Nvidia ), FlexAI is set to redefine the future of AI infrastructure.

If you're passionate about shaping the future of artificial intelligence, driving innovation, and contributing to a sustainable and inclusive AI ecosystem,
FlexAI is the place for you

Position Overview:

We are seeking self-driven and highly skilled
Signal Integrity Architect to lead and
drive signal and power integrity efforts within our organization. In this role, you will
take a leadership position, providing expertise in signal and power integrity analysis,
simulation, and optimization for complex high end server class systems. You will
collaborate closely with hardware designers, PCB layout engineers, and system
architects to achieve optimal performance while meeting design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the system level simulation and analysis of signal and power integrity for high end server class systems, setting the technical direction for the team.
  • Collaborate with hardware design teams to optimize PCB layouts, including component placement, routing, and stackup, to minimize signal and power integrity issues.
  • Utilize industrystandard tools (e.g., Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, Ansys SIwave) to perform signal and power integrity simulations and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement EMI/EMC mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Play a key role in selecting and specifying components to meet signal and power integrity requirements.
  • Lead signal and power integrity testing on prototype boards, providing guidance to the team and driving improvements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of signal and power integrity analyses, simulation results, design optimizations, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve complex signal and power integrity issues, providing innovative solutions.
  • Develop test plans and methodologies for validating signal and power integrity performance through simulation and empirical testing. Analyze measurement data and provide recommendations for design improvements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging signal and power integrity technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Drive innovation through research and development efforts to improve performance and reliability.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Practical knowledge of Signal integrity concepts: transmission line, Sparameter extraction, modelling systemlevel channels, and via modeling.
  • Practical knowledge of Power Delivery concepts: PCB/PKG PDN extraction, Decoupling selection criteria, AC/DC analysis, end to end PDN simulation with current profile or transients.
  • Handson experience in any one Field Solver
  • Ansys HFSS, SIwave, Hyperlynx, HSPICE
  • Handson Experience in any one SI Simulation tool
  • ADS, Hyperlynx
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging channel issues for highspeed Serdes ranging from 12G to 64G on cables, PCBs, and backplanes, addressing concerns related to jitter, channel loss, and return loss.
  • Proficient in conducting laboratory work with expertise in utilizing equipment such as VNA, TDR, realtime oscilloscopes, BERTs, deembedding techniques, and performing jitter analysis.
  • IBIS-AMI Modelling, validation and correlation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in offering SSO (Simultaneous Switching Output) guidelines and conducting related simulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PCB/Package terminologies
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience in Signal Integrity or Power Integrity domain

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, tailored to recognize your dedication and contributions.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in AI and cloud computing, learning from the best and brightest, fostering continuous learning.
