Your Impact on the Business
The role of an Associate Copy Writer is to create unique content across our wide range of products


This would entail:

  • Write highly engaging content that reflects our brand's voice
  • Collaborate with PMs, copy editors and analysts to develop a variety of content marketing materials
  • Produce errorfree content that adheres to the AP and FindLaw style guidelines that dictate writing standards, such as tense, voice or the spelling of certain words
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Effectively use writing sources and conduct online research

Job Requirements

  • Creative, innovative and adaptable to rapid changes in consumer preferences
  • Ensuring that content meets the company's or client's needs and follows our inhouse style guide
  • Organizing, modifying and updating existing content to ensure the proper flow of thoughts
  • Verifying content and information
  • Collaborating with coworkers and coming up with fresh, creative ideas to sustain the team's quality output
  • Managing a busy workload according to the deadline
  • Understanding SEO, keyword research and industry best practices
  • Understanding the time criticality and completing tasks with set targets and quality parameters in mind
  • Responding to stakeholder queries by taking complete ownership
  • Researching new and reviewing existing sources to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Promoting continuous improvement through research and analysis of queries/data quality control and seeking efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation where possible
  • Understanding our products to provide a higher degree of service to clients
  • Supporting specific projects and data enhancements
  • Updating daily reports/other production reports

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is required
  • English, communications, journalism or related background is preferred


  • Experience

  • Zero to 1 year experience in Digital content writing

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in U.S. English
  • Attention to detail
  • Handson experience with Content Management Systems
  • Works well in a team environment, embraces change and is highly adaptable
