Finance Specialist - General Accounting

You will be working as Finance Specialist - General Accounting at global grade 16 and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager - General Accounting and will be primarily responsible to handle selected accounting activities relating period close accounting activities including balance sheet and manual journal entries.

Your responsibilities

Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions
Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies
Executing accounting analyses and reports in support of finance and business leaders
Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations and statements of sourcing
Handling month end book closing activities and audit queries
Recommending changes of process standards and procedures to improve the timely performance of process activities
Identifying areas for process or report standardization across different countries

Your background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in R2R and SAP (also on Oracle if possible)
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
