Description

Roles And Responsibilities;

  • Research and Prospecting: Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities for our NGO. Utilize various resources, including online databases, corporate websites, and networking platforms, to identify relevant funding prospects
  • Donor Engagement: Support in maintaining and cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors. Assist in preparing donor communication materials such as thankyou letters, impact reports, and newsletters to keep donors engaged and informed about our work
  • Fundraising Events: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events, including donor cultivation events, fundraising campaigns, and online crowdfunding initiatives. Help with logistics, promotion, and donor stewardship during events
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate donor records and databases. Ensure donor information, interactions, and contributions are properly documented for future reference and analysis
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the fundraising team and other departments within the organization to align fundraising strategies with programmatic objectives. Assist in developing innovative fundraising ideas and initiatives to maximize fundraising potential.

Specific Job Skills & Values:


  • Excellent research and analytical skills to identify potential funding opportunities and prospects.
  • Proficiency in using online research tools, databases, G-Suite, LinkedIn
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passion for social causes and a strong commitment to the mission and values of the NGO.
  • Previous experience or coursework in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit management is preferred but not required.
