Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for electrical materials, components, and equipment. Conduct market research, vendor assessments, and supplier audits to assess capabilities, quality, and reliability.

Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with selected vendors to obtain the best value for the company. Collaborate with vendors to establish clear specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Purchase Order Management: Generate purchase orders for approved requisitions of electrical materials, components, and equipment. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm requirements and obtain necessary approvals.

Order Tracking and Follow-up: Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of electrical products. Follow up with vendors to expedite deliveries, resolve delivery discrepancies, and provide updates to internal stakeholders.

Cost Management: Analyze pricing proposals, conduct cost comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with electrical suppliers. Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement spend and achieve cost reduction targets.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased electrical materials and components meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct supplier audits and inspections as needed to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and correspondence related to electrical purchases. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key electrical suppliers and vendors. Communicate effectively with suppliers to address issues, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on electrical products.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in procurement processes.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of electrical products, components, and specifications.

Offered CTC:
Commensurate with experience

₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
