The Role Responsibilities

The FM Digital Channels team is driven to provide world class technology to support the bank's Financial Markets business. As a scrum master / product manager, you'll be responsible for delivering technology solutions to financial markets globally. The role is based in London and working in a dynamic global team with other technologists and business stakeholders across multiple locations.

Key Attributes

Experience of driving agile delivery in Scrum Master role, product ownership experience useful too.
Proactively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
Taking ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Understand business requirements and translate into quality technology solutions.
Provide ongoing support to the technology teams as required e.g., authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc

Technical skills:

Agile and traditional project management methodology knowledge and experience. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or PMP a plus
Financial Markets technology delivery experience
Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent standard of English (written and spoken)
Knowledge and previous experience of largescale financial markets technology platforms a plus
Understanding of change processes in financial institutions.
Technical background beneficial, knowledge of programming and scripting languages, technologies, architectures, data stores, messaging
Quantitive finance understanding, finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM etc) a plus
Ability to lead crossdepartmental teams to delivery with or without direct reporting line.
Experience of working together with a global team

Analytical mindset, outstanding problemsolving skills.
Ability to work proactively, independently and display strong initiative.
Ability to work under pressure with multiple concurrent assignments.

Role Specific Competencies

Financial Markets technology delivery experience
