Vendor & Logistics Coordinator**
Position Overview:As the Vendor & Logistics Coordinator in our brand-new company, you're the go-to person for building and nurturing connections with vendors and handling logistic needs.

Your main gig? Making sure we get what we need, when we need it, chatting with vendors, and taking care of some behind-the-scenes tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify potential vendors based on organizational needs and requirements.
  • Coordinating with overseas operations
  • Act as local vendor liaison by cultivating & maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring effective communication and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure that all local vendor activities comply with import/export regulations and local laws and help with preparing export documents.
  • Inventory Management and Coordinate with procurement, ensuring proper packaging and labeling of products.
  • Monitor and negotiate competitive rates and discounts, when necessary.
  • Arrange and coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to the company's warehouses or distribution centers; coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange international shipments and customs clearance.
  • Visit different cities, when needed, to oversee vendor sites and their processes.
  • Any other relevant duty as needed.

Basic Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
  • Experience in vendor management, procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in a similar industry or environment.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract management.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics operations is beneficial.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Capacity to identify and resolve issues related to vendor management, procurement, and logistics effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility and means to travel when needed to different cities or locations for site visits and oversee vendor processes.
  • Attention to detail in managing vendor contracts, shipment documentation, and quality control processes.

Job Types:
Regular / Permanent, Internship


Salary:
₹100, ₹400,000.00 per year
