Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for pre-primary and primary students.
• Support students' individual learning needs and foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor playtime.
• Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to students to promote their self-esteem and confidence.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with lead teachers, administrators, and other staff members to coordinate educational programs and activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is desirable.
• Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions from lead teachers and supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of classroom technology and educational software/tools is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
