Position Summary:

The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales of agrochemical products and services within a defined geographic region.

The individual will be required to identify potential customers, develop sales strategies, and manage customer relationships. The position requires a deep understanding of the agrochemical industry and its products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers within the assigned geographic region and develop strategies to generate new business.
  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits, followups, and support.
  • Provide technical support to customers and offer solutions based on their specific needs.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets for sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Gather and analyze market information to stay uptodate on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and track sales activities against targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the agrochemical industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales software.
  • Proficiency in local languages is preferred

Salary:
₹200, ₹300,000.00 per year
