Responsibilities:


Technology Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate the company's technology vision and strategy, in
alignment with the overall business goals.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to financial
services and assess their potential impact on our business.

  • Providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous
improvement.

  • Collaborate with other executives and stakeholders to identify opportunities for
leveraging technology to enhance operations, streamline processes, and improve
customer experience.

Technology Infrastructure and Operations:

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the organization's technology
infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Establish and maintain robust technology operations, including networks, servers,
databases, and systems, to support business operations.

  • Implement and enforce appropriate security measures, data protection protocols,
and disaster recovery plans to safeguard sensitive financial information.

Software Development and Technology Solutions:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's technology roadmap, ensuring
timely delivery of high-quality software products and solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify technology solutions
that address business needs, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.

  • Oversee the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering,
design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.


Digital Transformation and Innovation:

  • Work closely with business units to understand their needs and develop innovative
technology solutions that enhance experience and drive revenue growth.

  • Foster a culture of innovation within the technology department, encouraging
experimentation and the exploration of emerging technologies.


Vendor Management and Strategic Partnerships:

  • Evaluate and select technology vendors and partners, ensuring their alignment with
the organization's technology strategy and objectives.

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee servicelevel
agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance and value delivery.

  • Stay informed about market trends and vendor offerings, assessing potential
partnerships or acquisitions that can enhance our technology capabilities.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
An MBA or relevant business qualification is a plus.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within the technology function of a financial
services organization.

  • Strong understanding of financial services industry regulations, compliance requirements, and
security standards.

  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives and implementing
innovative technology solutions in the financial services sector.

  • Deep knowledge of software development methodologies, technology stacks, and
infrastructure management.

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence
and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven track record in managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic
partnerships
