    Description

    Our hiring partner is looking for :

    • This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata.
    • A Linux developer is a software engineer who specializes in creating applications and tools for the Linux operating system.
    • They leverage their programming expertise alongside a deep understanding of Linux to build functionalities that run smoothly on this platform.

    Note :
    This is a requirement for one of the Workassist Hiring Partner


    Technological Skills :
    C /Golang, shell scripting, Kernel modules and drivers (FPGA, I2C, SPI, MMC/SD, PCI, USB, SATA), and DMA and interrupts in Linux


    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Design, develop, and maintain Linux platform, kernel modules, and drivers.
    • Work on embedded software device driver development for switches/routers.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate and enhance open source software/thirdparty components.
    • Debug and troubleshoot using GDB, kernel, and driverlevel debugging techniques.
    • Utilize expertise in C, Golang, and shell scripting for effective programming.
    • Develop and maintain Linux networking components using ONL/ONLP, IPMI.
    • Implement DMA and interrupts in Linux environments.

    Mandatory Skills :

    • Excellent skill in programming in C or Golang, shell scripting
    • Development Experience in kernel modules and drivers (FPGA, I2C, SPI, MMC/SD, PCI, USB, SATA), and DMA and interrupts in Linux
    • Experience in embedded software device driver development in switches/ routers.
    • Experience in working with Linux networking components using ONL/ONLP, IPMI
    • Debugging skills using GDB, Kernel and drivers level debugging.
    • Experience in crosscompilation/toolchains
