The manufacturing facility is located at Mahape, Navi Mumbai.

EMPL is one of the most well respected companies in its field of Lab Equipment and is well known for its products and customer sensitivity in service.

The company is 50 years old and has a history of indigenously developing technology to compete and win over major multinational competitors.

Job Overview

The Executive Assistant plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth running of the Director's Office and providing efficient and accurate administration support to the Directors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Executive Assistant will be required to interact and follow up with people who are strategically important to the Organisation and is therefore responsible for portraying a favourable and highly professional impression to internal & external contacts.
  • The Executive Assistant will also need to be able to manage the Director's competing demands with a high degree of confidence and professionalism.
  • The Executive Assistant will also need to make a significant contribution to the effective performance of the Director by supporting his administrative and information needs.
  • Responsibilities will include diary management, travel arrangements and expenses, managing correspondence, as well as discreetly handling confidential and sensitive information, information gathering and web searching.
  • The role necessitates a high degree of autonomy and initiative and the need to make decisions on a daily basis within the agreed standards and framework, in a context of changing demands
  • Making arrangements for meetings, participants and collation and circulation of relevant papers and agendas.
  • Managing the Directorate filing systems, mailing list and contacts database, taking telephone messages and dealing appropriately with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Providing general administrative duties including word processing, collating and preparing documents.
  • Participating in team meetings, minuting them and following up.
  • Basic library and internet searches and presentation of information in appropriate formats.
  • Other special projects as arise.
Required Knowledge & Skills

  • A good understanding and practical experience of using databases, spreadsheets and the Internet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including Minute taking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with people at senior levels professionally and with appropriate confidentiality.
Education and Experience

  • MBA in Business Management. A graduate preferably in Commerce.
  • At least 5 years professional experience of all aspects of personal administration. A minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience of working under pressure in order to meet tight and changing deadlines.

₹300, ₹650,000.00 per year
