You will be joining our global organisation at a pivotal moment, working with finance and business colleagues from around the globe to deliver the Finance vision.

The role:


The role of Group finance is to support the business in making commercial and operational decisions to maximise profitability; provide information and analysis to management and the Board to support strategic decisions; manage working capital to quickly convert profit into cash; develop and maintain a strong control environment to detect and prevent financial loss; and to comply with legal, statutory and tax legislation on a worldwide basis.


We are seeking a Banking Executive to maintain and process all bank statements and accounts receivable items relating to various parts of the business, in accordance with internal processes and controls.

The role will also liaise with the wider business to resolve receipt and payment queries.

The role will cover requirements from the group globally, particularly requests from London.

As such, while the role is based on local hours (9:00-5:30pm in Gurugram) some flexibility will be required to cover day-to-day contact with London and occasional meetings with other global offices.


Accountabilities:

  • Process all lines on bank statements on a daily basis
  • Reconcile all lines on bank statements on a daily basis
  • Query and follow up any discrepancies on bank statements
  • Maintain credit card data files
  • Download and save Bank statements on a daily basis
  • Reconcile bank statements to GL on a monthly basis
  • Assist with all Cashier related queries
  • Input payments into the banking system and request approval
  • Provide treasury support where needed

Experience, skills and professional attributes:

  • Education and training:
  • Strong academics
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous work experience:
  • Experience of working in a banking, AP or AR team within a global corporate environment
  • Experience of working in a busy cashiers team, managing multicurrency bank accounts
  • Experience of systems improvement, automation and standardisation of processes
  • IT:
  • MS Office and advanced Excel
  • Experience of Zuora advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of an ERP system (PeopleSoft an advantage)
  • Languages:
  • Excellent English
  • Key skills:
  • Knowledge of cash reconciliation and banking procedures
  • Experience of performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A customer focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Accuracy of processing
