Role Summary :

CCTV technician provides preventive and remedial maintenance services on various ESS systems to include; IDS, ACS, CCTV, gates and turnstiles, cameras, duress switches, card readers, and fiber optic data transmission systems.

Key Deliverables:

To ensure regular communication with the Field Operations Manager to advise progress and problems which may require his assistance
To ensure that at all times tools, vehicles and safety equipment are regularly maintained in good and safe working order and that test gear is regularly calibrated and labeled as required by ISO9000
When appropriate to appoint and manage subcontractors on site ensuring their work is neat, workmanlike and conforms to all the necessary statutory regulations
To maintain all paperwork and documentation uptodate and to communicate appropriately with the Customer Service Administration Office to receive work and report progress in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with established procedures
To be aware of all contract possibilities and add on business opportunities
To observe and promote safe working practices and help maintain depots in a tidy and workmanlike manner
Performs their duties as assigned
Perform routine operator level preventive maintenance on CCTV digital video and fiber optics equipment

Key Competencies and skills:

Provide technical reachback telephone support service for sensors and CCTV components
Rotate between Stateside and Afghanistan as required
The completion of a CAD designs as input by other Project Team Members, such as Design Engineers, Project Manager
Produce CAD designs in accordance with Company procedures and CAD office standards and (where appropriate) clients CAD and documentations standards
Knowledge of both CCTV and Access Control Systems
Knowledge and experience of the Building/Construction industry
