Job Description

•RM inspection for critical Raw Material at receipt stage for material like Carbon, Silica, 6PDD, Wax, ZnO , CBS / TBBS.

•Test Method development for Critical RM testing.

• NIR Test Equipment will ensure quick and accurate judgement on incoming material Quality (Decision on procurement to be taken – 104K Euro or M INR) .

•To perform the inspection of reinforcement activities as now handed over from MPE team to QA 1st March 24.

•Supplier interaction, communication and complaint management.

•Supplier visits for action implementation verification.

 Must have good knowledge of Rubbers, Fillers, Rubber Chemicals ,Tex les and steel cords.
 Must have knowledge & perform tes ng of rubber chemical used on rubber industry like Rubber,
carbon black, Silica, Oil, accelerators, tex le etc.
 Good knowledge and experiences of wet chemical analysis.
 Must have knowledge of sophis cated analy cal tes ng like FTIR / UV-Vis etc. Also have the
capability to interpret the results.
 Fabric tes ng knowledge & releasing.
 Steel cord & metal breaker tes ng knowledge & releasing.
 Must have knowledge of test method development and modifica on as per interna onal
standard.
 Knowledge of interna onal standard like ASTM/ ISO / IS in the filed of rubber /polymer is a must.
 Must know the common good laboratory prac ce.
 Knowledge of NABL will be added advantage.
 Proficient in new test method development and documenta on in accordance to IS / ASTM
interna onal standards
 Daily report prepara on, record upda on and fair presenta on and communica on skills.
 Supplier communica on and supplier related complaint management.
 Structured problem solving - Root Cause analysis and problem solving tools.
 Data Analysis.
 Rubber mixing knowledge will be added advantage.
 Should have knowledge in Rheometer & Mooney viscosity tes ng.
 3rd Party Test according to Annual Layout / COA and Inspec on plan
 Releasing the GRN of Local and imported parts in SAP system, and decision on lot's tag.
 Block Available stock in case of any nonconformance & 100% Inspec on for all available
suspected lot.
 To coordinate with supplier and Logis cs for SQRC recovery.
 Supplier Visits regarding Con nual improvements and ensure the effec veness of implemented
processes Requirements.
 Maintain good rela onship with Internal customers , MPE, Quality Lab, PPI, PUR, SCM,
Produc on.
 Core tools knowledge:-Sta s cal process control, MSA, FMEA,PPAP, A3 , 8D , Process Mapping.

Qualifications

 University level Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Science & technology or Rubber Technology
 Or MSc. In Chemistry
