    A sales engineer plays a critical role inbridging the technical aspects of a product or service with theneeds of the customer. Heres a typical job description for a salesengineer:

    Position Title: SalesEngineer

    Overview: As a SalesEngineer you will be responsible for understanding the technicalintricacies of our products or services and effectivelycommunicating their value to prospective clients. You will workclosely with the sales team to identify opportunities presentsolutions and support the sales process from inception to closure.Your expertise in both technical and sales domains will beinstrumental in driving revenue growth and fostering longtermclient relationships.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1. Convertingleads for the Organization.

    2. Keeping track ofthe proposals submitted and keep communicating with internal andexternal teams.

    3. Coordinating with the projectteam and ensuring projects are completed ontime

    ResponsibilityDeliverable

    Tasks &Activities

    a. Providing relevantproposals for the leads generated b. Followup and ensuringconversion of the proposals shared in to sales

    c.Analyzing sales data and improving conversionratio

    a. Maintaining the data of proposalsgenerated in the ERP and keeping it updated

    b.Sharing the proposals with the estimation team and management forfurther action

    c. Reaching out to prospectiveclients on a continuous basis

    d. Ensuring thatthe leads generated are serviced (proposal sent/declined etc)

    e. Building and maintaining client relations. f.Proactively pursue new business and salesopportunities.

    Coordinating with the projectsteam and sharing the information with theclient

    a. Monitor the ongoing projects of clientsand convey the message of the client to the production team andvice versa.

    b. Stay in touch with the accountsteam for creation of challan etc. and generation of invoices as perpayment terms

    a. No of orderscracked

    b. Resolution of customercomplaints

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering.
    • Proven experience in technical sales engineering or from ControlPanel Industry.
    • Strong understanding oftechnical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectivelyto both technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the abilityto build rapport and credibility with clients.
    • Resultsoriented mindset with a track record of exceeding salestargets and driving business growth.
    • Abilityto work independently as well as collaboratively in a fastpaceddynamic environment.
    • Willingness to travel asneeded to meet with clients and attend industryevents.
