    Role Summary

    EQ Advisory ("the Company"), sits within the UK Shareholder Services division of Equiniti and comprises Richard Davies Investor Relations, the investor relations consultancy, Boudicca, the proxy solicitation & corporate governance advisory consultancy, and Prism, the company secretary services consultancy.

    EQ Advisory services corporate clients' investor relations and company secretarial teams with tools to manage their ongoing investor relations and corporate governance strategies.

    The role is to process our incoming and outgoing data, maintain data integrity, and assist the wider company with all data-related queries and requests.

    Core Duties/Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the following:

  • The integrity of data in the Company's services and products regarding SRA ("Share register analysis"), CRM & Proxy data including firms, funds, people and meetings
  • Making data changes directly in the databases for client-facing products for client data and core data
  • Example of client tasks:Adding client's investor meetings to IR InTouchAdding client's roadshows/conferences to IR InTouchAdding new contacts, firms to the databaseMerging contacts, firms in the database ensuring correct data transition
  • Example of data point tasks:Allocating types, styles, sector, geography to investment firm dataAllocating job functions to professional investor dataWriting and maintaining professional investor biographiesIdentifying relevant investment professionals for firms and funds
  • Importing a wide variety of SRA, CRM, and Proxy data to the system on behalf of the Company's stakeholders
  • Maintaining proper data segmentation to ensure that private data remains accessible only to appropriate parties
  • Running scheduled irregular data cleaning projects
  • Working on non-scheduled data cleaning projects
  • Adhering to data security policies
  • Maintaining up-to-date data connections across our various databases
  • Generation of client-bespoke board reports and SRA data feeds
  • Collating sensitive shareholder information for regulatory communications
  • Updating internal billing spreadsheets to ensure that we accurately invoice for our data processing services
  • Supporting the wider EQ Advisory group both directly through requests from companies within the group and indirectly by maintaining the data which underpins many of our decisions and advice to clients
