Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new clients
  • In charge of growing business for a wide range of General Insurance products, encompassing Mediclaim, Asset Insurance, Fire Insurance, Liability Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Marine Insurance, and more.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify untapped markets with growth potential and effectively retain our current client base.
  • Oversee and guide the Sales team in handling initial customer inquiries, requests for quotations (RFQs), and mandate letters.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of product pricing and features, ensuring a clear understanding of how they impact profitability.
  • Manage corporate clients and cultivate strong and mutually beneficial relationships with them.
  • Utilize the established relationships with corporate clients to drive successful closures and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with insurers and Third Party Administrators (TPAs) to enhance service quality and obtain competitive quotes for our clients.
  • Facilitate coordination with the HR and Finance departments to acquire corporate data efficiently.
  • Closely monitor competitor activities to gain insights into market trends and proactively respond with appropriate actions.
  • By analyzing their risk portfolio, provide recommendations on how to mitigate losses and ensure a strong bottom line, promoting a healthy financial outlook.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in the insurance broking industry, specializing in General Insurance and B2B sales within the BFSI sector.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to quickly and effectively manage client relationships with great success.
  • Strong analytical skill set and excellent presentation skills, to effectively engage with individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Consistently demonstrate consultative skills, patience, and perseverance in my approach.
  • Assertive, highly customerfocused, driven for results, and possess a strong aptitude for technology.
