Role Description
As part of FIC Re-engineering program, our group is building cross-asset Documentation (DICE) and Settlement (CSE) platforms.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis, and solution design.
  • Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability and other nonfunctional requirements)
  • Design, implementation, execution and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience and performance tests
  • Code reviews based on the foureye principle
  • Providing L3 support of the platform analyze and fix production issues; assist production support and other requesters with complex queries.
  • SL3 support rota. Working with support teams on production rollouts
  • Supporting nonProd environments
  • Adhering to the full DB SDLC protocols
  • Collaborating with other app team members, peer teams, Business and Technical stakeholders, Productions Support to make delivery a success

Your Skills and Experience:


  • B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer-Science
  • A handson technologist with 710 years of experience in Java based technologies, Microservices architecture, CI/CD pipeline
  • Deep knowledge of core Java (collections, multithreading, networking)
  • Good understanding of web services (SOAP,REST,RMI,etc); Data interchange (XML,JSON,etc)
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, etc)
  • Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Strong analytical and design skills
  • Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)

Additional Desired skills

  • Experience in Spring/Springboot,Java 8,Coherence,Tibco datasynapse GRID
  • Knowledge of JMS, Solace, IBM MQ or other messaging solutions
  • Experience in web frontend development technologies: js and js frameworks,jsp,jquery, HTML, CSS, etc
  • Experience with web servers like Tomcat and related technologies like AJAX, WebSSO;
  • Understanding of CI and test automation practices: TDD/BDD, Cucumber, Junit, Mockito etc.
  • Understanding of financial products (bonds, derivatives) and risk calculation methods and terminology
  • Experience in Investment Banking/Financial domain
