Job Role and Responsibilities:

Work closely with data, engineering, and analytics teams to understand the business objective and choose the right technical architect and products to execute the projects.
Technical Architect with real project experience in designing and developing Data Lake on Hadoop and AWS Services.
A clear understanding of Hadoop, Hive, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and S3 best practices and optimization.
Experience in creating data lakes for AI and Machine Learning.
Develop ProofofConcept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
Maintain indepth and current knowledge of the Cloud architecture, Data Lake, Data warehouse, BI platform, analytics models platforms, and ETL tools.
Wellversed with best practices around Data Governance and overall Data Quality initiatives.
Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
Excellent scripting skills in R/Python with an understanding of version control and cloud ecosystem.
Understanding of spark and other distributed pipeline ecosystems.
Experience with building and writing scalable software systems.
Ability to write clean and readable code. Clear communication and explanations wherever deemed fit.
Basic SQL with the ability to fetch, and transform data tables.
Strong understanding of statistical/control system techniques and methods such as distributions (Poisson, binomial), data intricacies (independent, skewness, kurtosis, etc), closedloop system design, etc.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's/Masters in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Statistics from a reputed institute.
Any other highly quantitative and relevant degree would do.
10+ years of experience in a relevant role
